I love photographing all my newborn clients. BUT….this little guy is my favorite!  Why? Because he’s mine. This is baby #4 for my husband and myself, and yes…they are all boys! Yep, 4 boys!  I know what you are thinking, we’ve heard every reaction possible when telling people we were having a 4th baby and when he was born and it was ANOTHER BOY the comments kept rolling. We love it! We would have loved a little girl, but we are pretty good at the whole raising boys thing by now.

So here is our final addition to our family, Bennett Russell.  He has been the perfect baby and we love his so much!! The big brothers were absolutely thrilled when they came to the hospital and found out they had another brother to join in with their loud, crazy, wrestling, lego building, ninja turtle fighting, baseball playing group.

It’s funny as a newborn photographer you would think that I would have had this session planned out in great detail prior to him being here, but I didn’t.  Probably because I would have gone crazy buy props. I kept it pretty classic for his session with grays and blues. But I knew I had to do one digital composite shot with baseball because our family LOVES the game!

And let me tell you that my older boys, as much as they love their new little brother, they wanted NOTHING to do with taking a nice picture with him. There was some serious bribery just to get them to put on jeans. What is it with boys and jeans? You’d swear they were allergic to them. However, after some coaxing (and tears) we were able to get a keeper that is framed nice and big in our living room right now. Ugh…my heart is melting all over again just looking at these cuties of mine!
